Associate Marriage & Family Therapist
Ayisa Harvey is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist/Associate Professional Clinical Counselor that specializes in working with children and adolescents to navigate life’s transitions, whether they are wanting to learn better coping skills, need support through major life adjustments, experiencing anxiety/depression, burnout, identity shifts, cultural disconnection, or want to strengthen their relationships and develop their communication skills. Ayisa Harvey aims to create a warm, collaborative space focusing on identifying values, as well as exploring creativity and inner wisdom. She draws from integrative systems, relational-cultural theory, emotionally focused therapy, utilizes a decolonial approach, and somatic practices to support the healing and building of more meaningful relationships—with the self and others.
Ayisa Harvey was born in Orange, CA, raised in Durham, NC, and has lived in various cities across North Carolina and California. When she is not working she enjoys being a mother, reading, playing/writing music,and traveling. Ayisa Harvey’s professional background includes:
M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University.
