The Center for Connection provides relationship-centered, brain-based occupational therapy for children, teens, and families in Santa Barbara, California. Our occupational therapy services are tailored to each person’s unique strengths, needs, relationships, and everyday environments. Our approach is grounded in the whole-child perspective that has long been central to The Center for Connection’s work, including the work of our founder, Dr. Tina Payne Bryson, co-author of The Whole-Brain Child. Rather than focusing on a single skill or behavior, our Santa Barbara occupational therapists consider how sensory processing, nervous system regulation, development, communication, relationships, and environment interact to shape a child’s ability to participate and thrive.
