About Suk Yi Chloe

Suk Yi Chloe Song, OTR/L, SWC

Director of Occupational Therapy & Occupational Therapist

Suk Yi Chloe Song, OTR/L, SWC, is a pediatric occupational therapist and Director of the Occupational Therapy Division at CFC-SB, where she supports children and families through warm, relationship-based care. Originally from Hong Kong, Chloe has lived and studied in the United Kingdom and the United States, bringing a cross-cultural perspective to her work with families. Her areas of focus include early intervention, sensory processing, and feeding.

Chloe takes a strengths-based, whole-child approach to therapy. Rather than focusing on a single skill, she considers how a child’s sensory and regulation needs, development, relationships, and environment shape their participation in everyday life. Building trust and connection is central to her work, helping children feel safe, engaged, and understood. She also values caregiver education and collaboration, recognizing that families bring an understanding of their child that is essential to therapy. By working together, strategies can carry beyond therapy and become meaningful in everyday family life.

Chloe's background spans early intervention, home-based, school-based, and outpatient pediatric settings. She has a particular interest in sensory processing and how the nervous system influences a child’s ability to regulate, connect, and engage with the world around them. She also has advanced practice in swallowing and feeding, viewing feeding challenges through a holistic lens that considers each child’s individual needs and experiences.

Having lived and studied across three countries, Chloe’s experiences with different cultures and communities have shaped her commitment to culturally sensitive care that respects each family’s values, experiences, and perspectives. She earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of York and her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from California State University, Dominguez Hills.

Outside of work, Chloe enjoys spending time with her family and her dog, Phillip, and staying active through tennis, pickleball, and Pilates.
